Bohrium Playing for the Championship

Bohrium Championship Round. At this point the score was .5 to 1.5 . A must win situation for Bohrium. King-Ghost came through with a very fine game to even the match.

Unfortunately the last game in the round for Bohrium didn't go so well. Bohrium finished as the runner up in the U2000 section. Credit goes to Salvatore, the Captain, for taking a brand new lineup all the way to final game. And, of course, credit to the players for playing really great Chess. Congratulations.

Bohrium Championship Round. This game must have been real taxing on the players. Any slight error and the game goes the wrong way. Credit to both players for playing great.

The Deciding Game

Bohrium Playoff Rd 2. The last game of the round, Match is tied 1.5 each. Because of tie breaks, Bohrium just needs a draw to advance to the final match. A very interesting game, well played by UsuallySleepy to get the win.

Bohriun Playoffs, Third Game

Bohriun Playoff Rd 2. King-Ghost had good chances to win this against a very good player.

Upsan In Battle

Bohrium Playoff Rd 2. This is a really neat game, a real battle. Both sides had chances to get a decisive position. A draw was a fair result.

LittleWarrior Draws

Bohrium Playoff Rd. 2. I'll give all four of Bohrium's games in this round. The first game saw LittleWarrior draw despite being a pawn down. Made it look easy.

Bohrium Advances To The Championship Round

Technetium Eliminated from the Playoffs.

Technetium Rd 2 playoffs. This round certainly didn't go our way. We started out with a no contact forfeit. Not only did we go down 0-1 but we lost the draw odds in the tie breaker. Another loss followed. We did get one win but that was a forfeit loss on their part. The only small bright spot was Boromir drawing a player 200 points above him. An interesting position at the end of the game.
